Lora Murphy Micro Series Wax Medium
The Enkaustikos team has worked closely with internationally recognized artist
Lora Murphy to develop a wonderful new line of portrait colors. We call
them our Micro Series because they are made with microcrystalline wax
along with U.S. pharmaceutical grade beeswax, damar resin, and lightfast
pigments. The addition of microcrystalline wax enhances the wonderful
translucency of beeswax and aids in flexibility of the paint providing
more open time with brush application, making them ideal for portraiture
work. You can find Lora’s wax paints in our Individual paint section in
our encaustic department or buy her set in the set section. If you
just would like to purchase her medium we have it below. It will add
flexibility, translucency and offer more open time when mixed with your
encaustic paints.
