Caran d'Ache Pastel Cubes Openstock - Pastel Cubes are really intended for drawing. They can be used flat over their whole length for covering large areas rapidly. Cross-hatching gives texture and depth. They define shape and provide subtle tonal values. Pastels cannot be mixed on a palette like watercolours or oils but rubbing and overlaying them gives transparency similar to scumbling. Dimensions 6 x 83 mm, softer texture that preserves its shading qualities.
