This liquid sumi ink is dense black. Made in Japan, it is ideal for drawing, painting, calligraphy, and all brush work. Japanese sumi inks are known for their high quality and beautiful gradations of black to gray. This ink comes in a bottle with a very narrow screw-top opening, so it is easy to pour the ink into a well or onto a sumi stone.
