"Supergranulating Watercolours"


By combining at least 2 granulating HORADAM® pigments, this effect is intensified to "supergranulation".
The colours are formulated with pigments from different colour ranges, so that the granulating effect results in additional colour changes.

Please note! This new, natural structure of the colours varies depending on the substrate and the amount of water used. The rougher a paper is, the stronger the granulating effect.

All HORADAM® AQUARELL special colours have 4 and 5 stars lightfastness (H) and contain only pigments already known from, the HORADAM® series. The opacity of the colours is mainly semi-opaque/ semi-transparent.

This set includes 8 series of the Supergranulating colors- each series includes 5 colors. The series included are Volcano, Desert, Shire, Deep Sea, Glacier, Galaxy, Tundra, and Forest. The half pans come in an enamel coated metal box; colors can be mixed directly on the box palettes that open up from the inner tray! Ideal for travel, plein air, and studio use.
