75% cotton and 25% flax fiber blended paper is made using the blend of both fibers. Cotton ensures durability, and the inclusion of linen gives an unusually tough working sheet. Cotton linen blend paper is preferred by artist of all ages. The flax/linen fiber gives this paper a warm, golden cream color; terrific for watercolor and gouache! Can also be used for black and white charcoal drawing and graphite drawing. Acid free!

It's a nice size. Used the whole piece for a boat picture I am working on. I have worked it pretty heavily and doesn't seem to fall apart. I used ink over the water color and it took it very well. It is an off white, ivory color that is nice.
