The thinnest handmade paper in the world, this paper's maker is
deemed a National Treasure by the Japanese government. Made totally by
hand in the southwest of Japan, this sheet is made with the finest kozo,
or mulberry, from Japan. Conservators often use this paper for book
repair.
The alternate image shows a scan with a dollar bill underneath the paper, so you can see how sheer and translucent these sheets are. Sorry but the dollar bill is not included!
Ideal for conservation, and even printmaking.
