One of the thinnest mulberry papers
in the world! Although the fiber is prepared by hand, some the final
sheet is formed by a machine for this version of Tengujoushi. Tengujoushi
is famous for being so lightweight, yet so strong. Why choose this
paper over its handmade counterpart? If you need larger quantities of
Tengujoshi yet are working with smaller budget, this paper is for you. This paper is incredibly sheer- it feels like a web made out of kozo fibers.
This sheet consists of 100% Kozo from Japan. Conservators often use
this paper for book repair. Ideal for conservation, and even
printmaking-chine colle or silkscreen with wax. Also ideal for collage, decoupage, and encaustic painting.
The alternate photo shows a dollar bill scanned underneath the paper, so you can see how sheer and thin these sheets are. Sorry but the dollar is not included with the paper! Scanned against a black background to show the fiber.
