Last Minute Reminder- Liz Haywood Sullivan Classes!
A last minute reminder for the two workshops that Liz Haywood Sullivan is offering. We need a couple more people to see them run. Liz is a fantastic artist and really understands the how to's of navigating the marketing aspects of a professional artist. Perhaps, gaining marketing strategies now is most timely.
Good Business: Practical Advice for Artists with Liz Haywood Sullivan
Liz Haywood Sullivan is a highly accomplished and experienced working artist. Through the years, artists have been portrayed as poor business people. This class will help debunk that myth by giving you valuable tips and techniques on managing your artistic career. Discussion topics will include how to keep track of your artwork, promotion techniques, getting noticed and getting published, bookkeeping tips, pricing, galleries, competitions and much more. This workshop is full of vital information, handouts will be included. Bring a notebook and your questions. Wednesday and Thursday, February 18th and 19th

The Dynamic Pastel Landscape with Liz Haywood Sullivan
Take your painting to a new level and learn how to make your pastels really pop! This three-day workshop will explore methods to give your paintings enhanced eye catching drama and richness. We will explore different surfaces, underpainting, composition, value and color techniques. Lots of tips and techniques in an encouraging environment. All levels welcome.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 20th- Feb. 22nd from 9:30 - 4:30 each day.

Curious About Liz Haywood Sullivan?
Liz Haywood-Sullivan, PSA, is a traditional representational artist specializing in pastel landscapes. She spent 18 years in design and since 1996 she has worked as a professional pastel artist, art educator, and community arts organizer. She teaches workshops nationally and will be speaking at the International Association of Pastel Societies conference this May in Albuquerque. She is a vice president for the North River Arts Society, and holds Signature Memberships in the Pastel Society of America, the Connecticut Pastel Society, and the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. Her paintings have been juried into numerous major national shows and have been featured in The Pastel Journal, American Artist, and American Art Collector magazines. Her award-winning pastel paintings are included in private and corporate collections nationwide.
Her paintings are represented in Boston at the Vose Galleries and she will have a solo show at the Cahoon Museum of American Art in Cotuit, MA next April.
