Encaustic Presentation Was a Hit!

Last night's free presentation on encaustic painting was quite a hit despite the dreary Rochester weather. Many local artists showed up to hear artist, Kathryn Bevier give an overview of encaustic painting and they seemed to enjoy watching her brief demonstrations. We thank everyone who came out for the presentation and hope you had a good time. Encaustic painting is one of the oldest art forms and it is a unique medium to learn about!

Rochester Art Supply occassionally organizes free presentations throughout the year. Our next presentation is on March 12th and features acrylic artist, Jeffrey Swaluk. Jeffrey will be at our retail location from 6:30pm- 8:00pm and will be holding an acrylic demonstration. Free admission and free parking are available. Space is limited so please arrive early.
